DIY Race-Bib Holder
I was pretty proud of how this project turned out, and I had most of the supplies around the house – which made it even more awesome! I did not really follow a tutorial, I kind of just went my own way through this project. My husband helped me with some of the shopping for supplies and taught me that all sand paper is not created equal. Who knew! 😉
I have really needed somewhere to store my race medals other than in a crumpled heap in the corner.
We had this extra piece of decorative wood laying around. I bought a can of chalkboard spray paint which was super easy to use. I had to sand the piece of wood first because it wasn’t entirely smooth.
The hooks are just the kind that you screw in by hand, so that part was easy too. I had the letters/numbers in my crafting box from a scrapbooking project a few months ago. They are just stickers. I screwed them in randomly because I did not have a ton of space to work with and I wanted the weight of the medals to be distributed somewhat evenly.
On the back, I hammered in two hangers so that it could be hung on the wall. I plan on using chalk to fill in my PRs next to each race distance!
